Live in Your Wheelhouse
“What is Wheelhouse?”
I actually get this question a lot! Especially from those who haven’t followed the blog from the beginning.
So, I figured it might be time to play a little game of catch up and what’s next in this post!
Long story short, this blog started as a way to share our story and to bring others along in our journey to launching our own company, WHEELHOUSE, one day!
That said, I am pleased to announce that Wheelhouse Realty is officially official. Our LLC that we secured years ago to remind us that we had this crazy dream is finally being put to use and we are currently finalizing the branding for it as we speak!
Can I get a WHOOP WHOOP?
To note – I will still be with Keller Williams. They just graciously let us co-brand and operate as our own business!
Here is a sneak peek:
{Shoutout to Rachel Pourchier for not only being our amazing family photog, but also a design guru – check her out here}
I am also proud to announce that Trevor recently made moves to be a Superintendent for Fischer Homes! He is finally getting to put his construction management/business degree to use while he learns the ropes on building homes which just happens to be …right in his wheelhouse!
And yes, this mama is already buttering him up to build us a modern farmhouse!
All that said, this journey is not always joyous, although we strive to find the joy in the journey. Please don’t be fooled – you see the highlight reel. That’s what social media is good for, right? Case & Point:
Have we had moments of fear (and plenty of other emotions)? You know it! But, at the end of the day, the fear is what pushes you to the next level. Back yourself in a corner with no chance but to succeed and ignore all the devil’s what if’s.
Full transparency I can get myself into some pretty serious funks sometimes, worrying about what’s next and wondering “what if” or if WE can. Well, here’s the good news, if YOU can’t, He can.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Whether you grew up in the church or not, chances are you’ve heard that one. Don’t let it go in one ear and out the other. Give yourself a moment to really let that soak in.
(ALL THINGS? Are you sure?)
Someone recently told me that I was one of the most positive people they have ever met. I responded with a very gracious “thank you” and quickly followed up with “it doesn’t always come natural (or easy)”. That said, I can guarantee that this light is coming from above and I am grateful that I can be that light in other people’s lives. My hope is that it will encourage positivity and courage in others!
Morale of the story: Be the hero of your story, not the victim. And if you find yourself somewhere in between the two, find the courage to push on to being the hero! The world needs more heroes. What are you being called to do? Are you answering it or ignoring it?
My wish for you is that you run toward it and find the courage in our story to write your own.
Stick around for the ride. It’s going to be a good one!
